Inray and Lachenmeier Monsun have signed an agreement to supply the FUELCONTROL system to DIN Forsyning’s new bioheat plant in Esbjerg. The plant will use wood chips as fuel and will generate heat for the district heating network for almost 100,000 inhabitants.
Inray’s FUELCONTROL system is responsible for fuel quality control and energy content determination of fuel deliveries at the Esbjerg plant. The system operates fully automatically, so the plant avoids time-consuming and labor-Intensive sampling, sample processing and laboratory analysis. In addition to determining the energy content of fuel deliveries, FUELCONTROL provides plant operators with real-time measurement data on fuel moisture, foreign matter, lower heating value and particle size. FUELCONTROL also protects process equipment by alerting of large foreign objects such as rocks and metals that are among the fuel.
Delivery of the system in January 2023.
