Vinski’s season came to a fantastic end at the Finnish Orienteering Championships in the ultra-long distance in Jyväskylä, where he claimed bronze in the men’s elite class. This was Vinski’s first medal in the men’s elite class.
The race covered over 30 kilometres and lasted just over 2 hours and 48 minutes. The tight contest was decided in the final sprint, but cramps that started a few kilometres before the finish prevented him from challenging for an even higher place this time.
Congratulations on this fantastic achievement!
